BJP leader Purnima Sahu marked a historic moment by paying respects at the steps of the new Jharkhand Assembly complex before taking her oath as an MLA. She described the new complex as a symbol of democratic pride and credited its vision and creation to her father-in-law, Raghubar Das, the former Chief Minister of Jharkhand and current Governor of Odisha. 

Sahu expressed her pride in entering the state’s largest legislative temple, built under Das’s visionary leadership. She highlighted the significance of the structure as a testament to development-focused governance. This moment was a source of immense honor for her as a legislator.
