Ranchi, Jharkhand — The Jharkhand government has assured that all necessary steps will be taken to secure the rights of investors associated with Sahara India. Chief Minister Hemant Soren gave this assurance during a meeting with a delegation from the Vishva Bharati Jansewa Sansthan on Tuesday.
Addressing the concerns of the investors, the Chief Minister stated that the Abua Sarkar (Our Government) will take legal and appropriate action to ensure that the rights and dues of Sahara investors are upheld.
The delegation urged the Chief Minister to take strong steps to facilitate the return of investors’ money, form an investigation commission, and file an intervention petition in the Supreme Court on behalf of the state government.
The members of the delegation who met the Chief Minister included Nagendra Kumar Kushwaha (National Secretary), Ashok Kumar Ram (Joint Secretary), Praveen Kumar Srivastava (Deputy Secretary), and Regina Suchita Kachhap.
The Chief Minister reiterated the government’s commitment to standing with the people and addressing financial injustices through lawful means.
