In a continued effort to promote transparent and responsive governance, Deputy Commissioner of Jamshedpur, Ananya Mittal, held a Janata Darbar at the district office, where she personally heard the grievances of local residents from various blocks and panchayats.

During the session, citizens raised a variety of issues including:

  • Difficulties in school admissions, especially in government-run and private institutions.
  • Delays in registration of police complaints and follow-ups.
  • Problems related to government welfare schemes such as pensions and housing.
  • Infrastructure-related complaints, including road development and land disputes.

    Request for pending salary clearances and compassionate job appointments.

Some concerns were resolved immediately, while others were forwarded to respective departments with clear instructions for prompt action.

DC Ananya Mittal assured the public that every complaint will be addressed within a fixed timeline, and that Janata Darbars are an effective tool for quick and fair grievance redressal.

The initiative reflects the administration’s commitment to bringing government closer to the people and resolving issues at the grassroots level.
