As per the weather forecast issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), heavy rainfall is expected to continue over the next 24 hours in the East Singhbhum district of Jharkhand.
In view of this warning and to ensure the safety of students, the district administration has declared a holiday for all schools on Friday, June 20, 2025.
The order applies to all categories of schools — government, private, minority-run, and aided institutions — operating from Class 1 to 8 within the district.
Authorities have urged parents and guardians to stay alert and take necessary precautions during this period of adverse weather.
