Jamshedpur: Dozens of residents from Gokul Nagar visited the residence of Jamshedpur West MLA Saryu Roy this morning to express their deep concern over a notice issued by the Forest Department regarding demolition of their homes.
Listening to the grievances seriously, MLA Saryu Roy assured the residents that every possible effort will be made to address the issue on a priority basis. He added that the matter will be taken up with the concerned departments to seek a viable and timely resolution, so that the affected families are not subjected to unnecessary hardship.
This development has brought a sense of relief among the residents, who had been anxious about the potential displacement.
