Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani, accompanied by his wife Priti Adani and son Karan Adani, visited the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj on January 21, 2025. During their visit, the family took a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam—the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and mythical Saraswati rivers—and offered prayers at the Bade Hanuman Temple.
In collaboration with the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), the Adani Group has been providing free meals to devotees attending the Maha Kumbh Mela. Gautam Adani actively participated in this initiative by assisting in the preparation and distribution of ‘Mahaprasad’ to over 50 lakh devotees.
Expressing his admiration for the event’s organization, Mr. Adani stated, “The way millions of people are managed, and the manner in which all arrangements are maintained, is a subject of study for management institutes and corporate houses.”
The Maha Kumbh Mela, which commenced on January 13 and will continue until February 26, 2025, has attracted millions of pilgrims from across the globe. Despite cold weather and dense fog, over 1.59 million devotees took a dip at the Triveni Sangam on the ninth day of the festival.
