Chakulia, May 11 –
The birth anniversary of Pandit Raghunath Murmu, the revered creator of the Ol Chiki script, was celebrated with great enthusiasm and cultural fervor in Muturkham, under Chakulia block. The event was organized by Sido Kanhu Club, Muturkham.

Jharkhand’s Education Minister, Ramdas Soren, graced the occasion as the chief guest. During the ceremony, he paid floral tribute at the statue of Pandit Raghunath Murmu, honoring his contributions to the Santali language and tribal heritage.

The celebration highlighted Murmu’s enduring legacy in promoting education, language, and identity among the tribal communities of Jharkhand.
