Builder Association Urges Dissolution of JNAC for Better Governance in Jamshedpur

Jharkhand : Shibu Burman, Chairman of the Builder Association of India, Jharkhand, has called on Chief Minister Hemant Soren to dissolve the Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) due to its alleged inefficiency in urban development. Burman proposed transferring JNAC’s responsibilities to the Deputy Commissioner and District Administration to streamline city governance. 

He highlighted issues like poor urban planning, delays in construction approvals, inadequate parking solutions, and disorganized building regulations. Business owners also face challenges in obtaining trade licenses, while unchecked operations of pan and gutka shops near educational institutions remain a concern. 

The association plans to meet with key state officials to present these grievances and demand immediate resolutions.
