West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee celebrated Christmas by attending the midnight mass at the Cathedral of the Most Holy Rosary in Kolkata. Accompanied by the Archbishop of Calcutta, Most Rev. Thomas D’Souza, she offered prayers for the health, happiness, and well-being of all. 

In her Christmas message, she highlighted the festival’s power to unite people across caste, creed, religion, and ethnicity. She emphasized the values of kindness, forgiveness, and compassion, encouraging everyone to embrace these ideals and spread joy during this festive season. 

Banerjee’s active participation in Christmas festivities, including the Kolkata Christmas Festival and illuminating historic churches across the state, reflects her commitment to inclusivity and unity. She urged people to come together to celebrate harmony and strengthen the bonds that make society stronger.
