New Delhi: Chirag Paswan, Member of Parliament, chaired a meeting of the Parliamentary Advisory Committee for the Ministry of Food Processing Industries in New Delhi. 

During the meeting, a comprehensive review of the work carried out by both NIFTEMs (National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management) was conducted. The committee members lauded NIFTEMs for their efforts in promoting inclusive development in the food processing sector and integrating micro-industries into the mainstream economy. 

The discussion also included several significant suggestions for establishing new NIFTEMs in other parts of the country to further boost the food processing industry. 

The meeting highlighted the importance of strengthening the sector to support small-scale enterprises and enhance the overall food processing infrastructure in India.
