Jamshedpur: Saryu Roy, MLA of Jamshedpur West, has alleged that the criminal gangs operating under the patronage of Banna Gupta have now started fighting among themselves. He claimed that the murder of Alok Bhagat in Shastri Nagar is a result of internal rivalry among these gangs. According to Roy, the absence of political pressure has led these groups to turn against one another.
In a statement, Roy said that the same individuals who were used by Banna Gupta to establish a reign of fear and terror in Jamshedpur over the last five years are now terrified themselves. This fear is not external but stems from internal conflicts within these criminal groups. He urged the police to investigate these rivalries and expose the atmosphere of fear and terror created under Banna Gupta’s protection.
Roy emphasized that the intelligence department should gather necessary evidence to prevent such incidents in the future. He expressed hope that the Jamshedpur police would uncover the truth behind this incident and identify the roots of the issue. He further stated that Banna Gupta himself is now afraid, and the cause of his fear is the very gangs he nurtured. Roy called on the police to intensify efforts and identify these criminal groups in a timely manner.
