Jamshedpur, February 21: Smt. Durgi Devi became the first beneficiary of the State Widow Remarriage Incentive Scheme in East Singhbhum district. Under this initiative, she was awarded a cheque of ₹2 lakh by the Deputy Commissioner of Jamshedpur.
The scheme aims to promote and support widow remarriage by providing financial assistance. The DC Jamshedpur congratulated the couple, wishing them a bright future and a happy married life.
