Continuous heavy rainfall over the past two days has caused a significant rise in the water level of the Subarnarekha River, leading to severe flood-like conditions in low-lying areas such as Sitaramdera and Sidgora Police Station zone. Many homes are inundated, and normal life has been disrupted.
MLA Purnima Sahu Visits Affected Areas
Jamshedpur East MLA Purnima Sahu visited the flood-affected areas on Wednesday to assess the ground situation and listen to the grievances of local residents. She assured the people that their issues will be resolved on a priority basis and that all possible assistance will be provided.
