Hyderabad: Former MP of Bihar and SIS Group owner RK Sinha shared an inspiring update on social media regarding the promotion of millet-based sustainable practices. On Friday, December 27, during his visit to Mahbubnagar, located 108 kilometers from Hyderabad, Sinha learned innovative techniques for processing millets without using heavy machinery. The method, demonstrated by Padma Shri awardee Dr. Khadar Valli’s team, focuses on preserving the nutritional value of traditional grains through manual processing techniques.
Sinha announced plans to establish millet processing and farmer training centers under the Adya Organics banner in cities such as Patna, Ara, Noida, and Dehradun. These centers aim to train farmers and promote the use of traditional, nutrient-rich grains while supporting organic farming and sustainability.
The initiative aligns with the broader vision of boosting the millet revolution in India, promoting health and nutrition through organic and sustainable practices. This step is expected to empower farmers and contribute to a healthier India through traditional food systems.
