Ranchi: A 2.15-kilometre road construction project in Urugutu Panchayat under Kanke Block was officially inaugurated today. The project, with an estimated cost of ₹2.5 crore, was initiated in the presence of MP Sanjay Seth and marked a special moment as the foundation was laid by local women leaders, symbolizing the strength of “Matrushakti” (women power).
The event was graced by the presence of Kanke MLA Suresh Baitha, along with enthusiastic participation from local residents and community representatives.
Prominent attendees included Sushma Devi, Pooja Kispotta, Naseeb Lal Mahato, Gopal Mahato, Ram Lakhan Munda, Prabhat Bhushan, Manoj Sahu, and Manoj Mahato.
The road is expected to greatly improve connectivity and ease transportation for the people of the region.
