A heartbreaking case of medical negligence has emerged from Godda district, where a young girl lost her life due to the absence of timely medical care.
According to sources, the girl was seriously injured after falling from a roof. Her family immediately dialed 108 emergency services to call for an ambulance. Despite repeated calls and desperate pleas, the ambulance never arrived.
Each time they called, they were given the same response:
“It will reach shortly.”
But that “shortly” turned into an unbearable wait — during which the injured child succumbed to her injuries.
The family and local residents are outraged, blaming the health department’s negligence and the inefficiency of the 108 ambulance service for the tragedy. The lack of prompt response has once again exposed the fragility of emergency healthcare services in the region.
