Jamshedpur – The social organization Bangabandhu has announced a grand celebration for the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on 23rd January. This initiative aims to bring together all Bangla-speaking institutions of Jamshedpur to create a historic tribute to the iconic leader.
During a press conference held at the Sakchi Bengal Club, organization president Aparna Guha and General Secretary Uttam Guha shared the event details. Participants, including women, children, and men from various areas such as Parsudih, Sundarnagar, Kadma, Sonari, Baridih, Telco, Birsanagar, Sakchi, Mango, and Bistupur, will assemble at Sakchi on 23rd January.
The celebration will commence with a grand procession from Sakchi Eye Hospital, featuring women and children performing patriotic dances and songs. Cultural tableaux will be displayed, reflecting the spirit of patriotism. After reaching the event ground, participants will pay homage to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose by garlanding his statue.
The event will also include cultural programs showcasing music and dance performed by women and children, serving as a tribute to Netaji’s leadership and sacrifices. The presidents of various Bangla-speaking organizations will address the gathering, highlighting Netaji’s legacy and his role in inspiring generations.
Former MLA Banna Gupta will inaugurate an ambulance dedicated by Bangabandhu to assist the needy. Additionally, lamps will be lit on 22nd and 23rd January as a mark of respect for Netaji. Yoga enthusiast Anshu Sarkar emphasized that the event will foster community unity and patriotism while inspiring younger generations to draw lessons from Netaji’s life and thoughts.
The Bangabandhu organization has invited everyone to join the event at 11 a.m. on 23rd January in front of Sakchi Eye Hospital to honor the memory of the nation’s hero and participate in this significant gathering.
Key members present at the press conference included Aparna Guha, Uttam Guha, Anshu Sarkar, Purvi Ghosh, Amit Maiti, Ashok Dutta, Binod Dey, Pranab Sarkar, Paritosh Mahato, Subhash Singhray, and others.
