Grand Shiva Baraat to be Organized in Deoghar on Mahashivratri (February 26, 2025)

On Wednesday, February 26, 2025, a grand Shiva Baraat will be organized in Deoghar, the sacred city of Baba Baidyanath, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. The city has been beautifully decorated like a bride for the occasion.

For the first time, the Jharkhand Tourism Department is organizing the Mahashivratri Festival. The event will be inaugurated at KKN Stadium by Chief Minister Hemant Soren. Following the inauguration, the Chief Minister will flag off the Shiva Baraat.

The Chief Minister will be accompanied by his wife, MLA Kalpana Soren, and secretaries from four government departments. The Deoghar district administration has completed all preparations for the Mahashivratri celebrations, ensuring a grand and spiritual experience for devotees.
