The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially postponed the remaining Chartered Accountancy (CA) examinations scheduled from May 9 to May 14, 2025, citing the prevailing tense security situation in the country.

The decision affects the CA Final, Intermediate, and Post Qualification Course (PQC) Examinations, including the International Taxation – Assessment Test (INTT AT).
In an official announcement, ICAI stated:

“Important Announcement – In view of the tense security situation in the country, the remaining papers of CA Final, Intermediate & PQC Examinations [International Taxation-Assessment Test (INTT AT)] from May 9 to May 14, 2025, stand postponed.”

The move comes in the wake of Operation Sindoor, a large-scale military campaign launched by India in response to recent cross-border hostilities, placing the nation on high alert.

Revised exam dates will be announced in due course, and candidates are advised to regularly check the official ICAI website for updates.
