Under a special campaign by the Prohibition Unit of Bihar Police, information was received that liquor smugglers from outside the state were transporting illegal liquor into Bihar via truck. Acting on this, a crackdown was launched to dismantle the illegal liquor network in Bhojpur district.
On 30.04.2025, with the assistance of Gidha Police Station, the concerned truck was identified. Foreign liquor loaded on the truck was seized, and two accused were arrested.
