Today, the first phase of the six-lane Ganga Bridge project from Kacchi Dargah to Bidupur was inaugurated. This phase includes the 4.57 km connectivity segment from Patna (NH–31) to Raghopur. The inauguration was conducted by Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar, along with Hon’ble Deputy Chief Ministers Shri Samrat Choudhary and Shri Vijay Kumar Sinha.
Being constructed at a cost of ₹4988.40 crore, this ambitious infrastructure project will serve as a vital link connecting North and South Bihar. The remaining two phases of the project are expected to be completed soon.
On this occasion, Hon’ble Speaker of the Bihar Legislative Assembly Shri Nand Kishore Yadav, Hon’ble Minister Shri Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, and senior officials from the department were also present.
