Ranchi, May 12 –
In a move that will directly impact household budgets, the Jharkhand Milk Federation has announced a price hike of ₹2 per litre on its popular Medha milk brand, effective from May 12.
Confirming the development, Managing Director Jaydev Biswas termed the price hike as a routine revision, noting that no increase had been made in recent times. “It had become necessary for the Federation to revise the price of liquid milk after a long gap,” he said.
In the current economic climate, the rise in Medha milk prices is expected to affect the daily expenses of the common man across the state.
