The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) is gearing up to contest the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections, having staked its claim on 16 seats. The party has expressed its desire to join the INDIA alliance, a coalition of opposition parties.
However, JMM has made it clear that if it is not accommodated within the alliance framework, it is ready to contest the elections independently.
RJD leader Sanjay Yadav has supported JMM’s claim, calling their demand “reasonable” and acknowledging the party’s presence in border and tribal regions of Bihar.
