A 30-year-old man from Nagla Khitkari village in Aligarh district, Uttar Pradesh, crossed into Pakistan illegally to meet a woman he had fallen in love with on Facebook. Identified as Badal Babu, the man reportedly became infatuated with the Pakistani woman, Sakina, and decided to leave home to meet her.

The incident occurred on December 27, when Pakistani authorities apprehended Badal near the Moza Mong area for crossing the border without valid documents or a visa. During questioning, Badal revealed that he had connected with the woman through social media and was deeply in love with her.
