Maharashtra Government Extends Financial Help to Former Cricketer Vinod Kambli 

The Maharashtra government has come forward to support former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli, who is currently hospitalized due to health issues. Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde personally visited Kambli at the hospital to inquire about his health and announced financial assistance of ₹5 lakh to aid in his treatment and recovery. 

This gesture underscores the government’s commitment to supporting sports personalities who have contributed to the nation. Kambli, known for his outstanding performances in cricket during the 1990s, has been facing financial and health challenges in recent years. The assistance aims to provide immediate relief and support to the former cricketer in his time of need.
