Hazaribagh police conducted a significant operation on Wednesday night targeting illegal activities in hotels operating within the city and along the Ranchi-Patna Highway. The raid was conducted by a team comprising Magistrate Sadar CO Mayank Bhushan, Sadar SDPO Amit Anand, and Mufassil Police Station in-charge Kunal Kishore.
One of the key locations raided was The King Resort Hotel, located near Chano under the Mufassil Police Station area. During the operation, seven individuals, including a female manager, were taken into custody. The group included four men and three women, two of whom were reportedly brought in from outside the area.
Authorities revealed that the female manager was allegedly facilitating illegal activities, tarnishing the dignity of women. Investigations are underway, and further action will be taken based on the findings.
This operation underscores the commitment of the Hazaribagh police to clamp down on unlawful activities and ensure law and order in the region.
