The National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) has criticized the arrest of its National General Secretary Ankush Bhatnagar and his associates, describing it as an attempt to suppress dissent. The organization stated that whenever authoritarian regimes feel threatened, they resort to using the police to silence voices of opposition.

NSUI emphasized that the fight for youth rights, including demands for employment and stable jobs, will not be deterred by such actions. The group reiterated its commitment to standing up for the aspirations and rights of young people across the country.

The statement reflects growing concerns about the use of force to stifle democratic protests and calls for immediate attention to pressing issues like unemployment.
