In a significant crackdown on privacy violations, Gujarat Police have arrested Chandraprakash Phoolchand, a YouTuber from Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Phoolchand is accused of recording and uploading videos of women bathing during the Mahakumbh festival to platforms like YouTube and Telegram.
The arrest follows an investigation into explicit videos of women patients at a Rajkot maternity hospital, leading to the apprehension of two NEET aspirants from Maharashtra, Prajwal Taili and Praj Patil. Interrogations revealed that the trio collaborated in selling explicit content online, including footage from the Mahakumbh.
Authorities are also investigating potential hacking of CCTV systems in hospitals and public places across the country. The Uttar Pradesh Police have registered multiple FIRs and are working to identify and apprehend all individuals involved in these illicit activities.
