Rahul Gandhi Welcomes Centre’s Decision on Caste Census, Offers Congress’ Support in Designing It

Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, welcomed the Central Government’s decision to conduct a caste census in India.

Rahul Gandhi said, “We support the government in designing the caste census. A better blueprint is needed, and we will provide it. The government must now share the framework and date for the census.”

He also emphasized that the Congress Party didn’t just demand the caste census but led a nationwide campaign, which he credited as a major reason behind the government’s move.
