Rain is expected to continue in almost all districts of Jharkhand today, and the weather is likely to remain unsettled over the next few days, according to the Meteorological Centre in Ranchi.
The forecast brings relief from the heat, as temperatures are not expected to rise significantly. The maximum temperature in most districts is likely to stay below 40°C until May 29.
Moderate to strong winds are also predicted across the state. Many areas may experience light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning. An Orange Alert has been issued in light of these weather conditions.
Specifically, on May 24, wind speeds may reach 40 to 50 km/h in Ranchi and other parts of the state.
The capital’s maximum temperature is expected to remain around 30°C, with a drop in the minimum temperature as well.
