Ahmedabad: Police have apprehended three members of a Rajasthan-based gang involved in digitally defrauding an elderly man of Rs 1.15 crore. The gang used advanced digital techniques to carry out the scam, which has highlighted the growing menace of cybercrime.
During the arrest, authorities recovered Rs 11 lakh in cash from the suspects. The investigation is ongoing, and police are working to trace the remaining amount and uncover the gang’s broader network.
