A review meeting regarding the Chowkidar recruitment process in Ranchi district was held today at the Collectorate Auditorium. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate Manjunath Bhajantri.
It was informed during the meeting that out of 4,978 candidates who appeared for the written examination held on April 27, a total of 929 candidates have been found eligible for the next round — the physical test. This includes 765 male and 164 female candidates.
The physical fitness and running tests will be conducted from May 24 to May 30, 2025, at Khelgaon (Sports Village), Ranchi.
Several key officials were present at the meeting, including Superintendent of Police Rajkumar Mehta, Sub-Divisional Officer Utkarsh Kumar, and Additional Collector Ramnarayan Singh.
