Seraikela-Kharsawan Police Bust Major Inter-District Bike Theft Gang, 70 Stolen Bikes Recovered

Saraikela,Jharkhand – In a major breakthrough, the Seraikela-Kharsawan police have busted a significant inter-district bike theft gang. Addressing a press conference, SP Mukesh Kumar Lunayat revealed that the Special Investigation Team (SIT) conducted raids in the Dalbhanga OP area of Kuchai, leading to the gang’s exposure. A total of 70 stolen motorcycles were recovered during the operation. 

The police also arrested four notorious gang members, identified as: 
– Shankar Majhi and Bhushan Machhua from Raidi Mod, Tamar, Ranchi district. 
– Mangal Munda from Badani village, Arki, Khunti district. 
– Shiv Munda from Shoshodih village, Kuchai, Seraikela district. 

All the accused have been sent to judicial custody. The operation marks a significant step towards curbing theft incidents in the region, and residents hope for improved safety and security following the arrests.
