Jamshedpur – A special workshop on “Digital Literacy” was conducted at LBSM College in collaboration with Tata Steel Foundation. The event was presided over by College Principal Dr. A.K. Jha, with NCC Officer Ritu managing the stage proceedings.

The workshop aimed to increase awareness among women and students about digital technologies and empower them. Key topics covered included cybersecurity, emergency SOS numbers, Aadhaar updates, Google settings for mobile security, birth certificate procedures, and other essential digital services.

Experts Gaurishankar Singh and Ankit led the technical session, providing practical training on using digital tools safely, preventing online fraud, and effectively utilizing government digital services.
The Tata Steel Foundation team, including Smriti Kumari, Anil Kumar, Aamir Sen Sundar, Balram Mahato, and Birendra Yadav, actively participated, contributing to digital awareness efforts.
Faculty members Saloni, Shipra, and Pramila Kisku emphasized the importance of digital literacy and the need for such initiatives to empower women.
