In a remarkable effort to promote environmental awareness and encourage youth participation, Tata Steel UISL, in partnership with Potli Productions and The Hyphen, has launched *Swachhta Samvaad, a book authored by 43 students from 25 schools in Jamshedpur. This initiative aligns with the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (Clean India Mission) and highlights the creativity and dedication of young minds committed to a cleaner, greener future.
The event was attended by Krishna Kumar, Deputy Municipal Commissioner (DMC), JNAC, and Rabindra Kumar Singh, General Manager (Town O&EM) at Tata Steel UISL, who recognized the efforts of over 3,000 students who participated in making this project a success.
The initiative began with a city-wide essay competition where students shared their perspectives on cleanliness practices, challenges, and solutions. From the numerous entries, 43 students were chosen to attend a creative writing workshop conducted by Deepali Raina, Founder of Potli Productions. The workshop provided them with the opportunity to refine their storytelling and communication skills, helping them craft the narratives featured in *Swachhta Samvaad.
