Jamshedpur: Tata Steel’s LD-2 Division organized a blood donation camp at the Congress Hall, reaffirming its commitment to social responsibility and community welfare.
The camp was jointly inaugurated by Dr. Rama Shankar, Head of the Dental Department at Tata Main Hospital (TMH), and Arkee Jha, Chairman of the Joint Departmental Council (JDC).
Welcoming the gathering, Division Head Virendra Bari praised the long-standing tradition of blood donation at LD-2 and expressed confidence that employees will continue to actively participate in such initiatives.
Dr. Rama Shankar, the chief guest, highlighted the importance and benefits of blood donation, encouraging students above the age of 18 to come forward and contribute to this noble cause.
The event was conducted by JDC Chairman Arkee Jha, while Gurusharan Singh, a senior LD-2 committee member, delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all donors, medical staff, officials, and volunteers.
Committee members Abdul Rafiq, S.K. Pandey, Rahul Srivastava, Mangal Mahato, and staff members Brajesh and Vijay Tiwari were present, along with a significant number of employees and department officials.
