Tragic Incident at Jamshedpur MGM Hospital: Government Expresses Deep Condolences

A tragic accident occurred at Jamshedpur’s MGM Hospital as a portion of the building collapsed, resulting in the unfortunate deaths of three individuals. Search operations continue for one person still missing. Dr. Irfan Ansari extend his deepest condolences to the families of the deceased and pray for strength and peace for the bereaved.

On the instructions of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, the Health Minister Irfan Ansari along with Additional Chief Secretary of the Health Department reached the site late last night to assess the situation. An emergency meeting was held with district officials and the administration to review immediate action and safety measures.

NDRF teams and district authorities are actively engaged in relief and rescue operations. A high-level investigation has been ordered, and strict action will be taken against those found responsible within a week.

The Government of Jharkhand has announced financial assistance of Rs. 5 lakh for the families of the deceased and Rs. 50,000 for the injured. The state stands firmly with the affected families in this hour of grief
