Tragic Loss in Jamshedpur: Daughter Performs Last Rites for Parents

In a heart-wrenching incident in Jamshedpur, Devashish Chaudhary (62) and his wife Nupur Chaudhary (56) lost their lives after being struck by a heavy vehicle (hyva) that entered a no-entry zone on Saturday night at around 8:30 PM. The couple’s minor daughter, Trishani Chaudhary (17), who has now become an orphan, performed the last rites for her parents late on Sunday night at Bistupur Parvati Ghat.

Before the cremation, Trishani sat near her parents’ feet, repeatedly saying, “I bow to my parents’ feet and vow to fight for justice until my last breath, so that no other child has to face the same fate as I have.”

This tragic loss follows the death of her brother in an accident 11 years ago, further compounding the family’s suffering.
