Vinay Kumar Takes Charge as Bihar’s New DGP, Vows Strict Action Against Crime

Vinay Kumar officially assumed charge as Bihar’s new Director General of Police (DGP) on Saturday, pledging to enforce law and order with utmost rigor. After taking office in Patna, DGP Kumar addressed the media, emphasizing his commitment to curbing crime and ensuring public safety across the state. 

During the press interaction, DGP Kumar announced plans to seize the properties of criminals as part of a strict crackdown on unlawful activities. “Every police station will be assigned special tasks to ensure effective action against crime and lawbreakers,” he said. 

Kumar’s appointment as the state’s top police officer comes at a time when Bihar is focusing on improving its security framework. His leadership is expected to introduce reforms and strengthen the state’s law enforcement to create a safer environment for its citizens.
