Jamshedpur, Jharkhand – On the second day of the health check-up camp organized in residential schools across the district, 1651 students underwent comprehensive health screenings. The initiative focuses on improving healthcare access for schoolchildren. 

The camp includes testing for malaria, tuberculosis (TB), sickle cell anemia, and leprosy screening. In addition to medical examinations, instructions have been issued to the Civil Surgeon to facilitate applications for ABHA (Ayushman Bharat Health Account) cards and Ayushman Bharat health insurance cards. 

This proactive measure ensures students have access to early detection of diseases and critical healthcare facilities. 

The health camps are part of the state’s ongoing commitment to the well-being of children and ensuring that every student in residential schools receives timely medical support and government health benefits.
