Police Arrest Notorious Criminal in Jamshedpur for Extortion and Illegal Possession of Firearms 

Jamshedpur police have arrested Bunty Guha, a notorious criminal, on charges of demanding extortion from local business owners. The arrest was made following a complaint lodged at Kadma police station on December 19. 

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kishor Kaushal shared details during a press conference, explaining that a dedicated police team was formed to investigate the case. Acting on a tip-off, police surrounded the area near Ramjanmnagar Marine Drive Chhath Ghat, where the accused was found armed. 

During the operation, the police recovered a pistol, two live cartridges, and a SIM card from Guha’s possession. The arrest marks a significant step in curbing criminal activities in the city, reinforcing safety for local businesses and residents.
