DC Conducts Third Election Expenditure Audit for Assembly Candidates in Presence of Observers

In an effort to maintain transparency and accountability in campaign finances, the District Commissioner (DC) successfully conducted the third expenditure audit for assembly election candidates, with expenditure observers in attendance.

Out of the total 106 candidates, 97 candidates or their representatives were present for the expenditure review, while 9 candidates were absent. These audits are a crucial part of ensuring that all candidates adhere to the guidelines set for election expenditure, promoting fair and lawful campaigning practices.
