Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma Inaugurates Newly Built Bridge in Lakhimpur 

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced the successful completion and inauguration of a new bridge at Kharkati in Lakhimpur, constructed over the Rongandi River. This marks a significant milestone in the state’s ongoing infrastructure development initiatives. 

The bridge is part of an ambitious project under which more than 1,000 bridges are currently being constructed across Assam to improve connectivity and boost development in the region. Highlighting the state’s commitment to progress, the Chief Minister dedicated the completed bridge to the public, reflecting the government’s focus on enhancing accessibility and fostering growth in Assam.
