Mumbai: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Jay Shah and Indian women’s cricket team captain Harmanpreet Kaur unveiled the new ODI jersey, designed by Adidas, at the BCCI headquarters on Friday, November 29.
The revamped jersey features a tri-colour gradient on the shoulders, departing from the previous version, which showcased Adidas’ iconic three white stripes.
The Indian women’s cricket team, led by Harmanpreet Kaur, will debut the jersey during the six-match white-ball series against West Indies starting December 15 in Navi Mumbai. Before that, the team will wear the older jersey for the last time during their three-match ODI series against Australia, commencing December 5 in Brisbane.
The men’s senior team will sport the new jersey during their ODI series against England starting February 6, 2025, in Nagpur.
This latest design is a reflection of India’s vibrant cricketing legacy and symbolizes the pride of representing the nation on the international stage.
