On Saturday, February 15, 2025, Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani and his wife, Priti Adani, visited the revered Ajmer Sharif Dargah in Rajasthan. The couple offered a ceremonial ‘chadar’ (sacred cloth) and flowers at the shrine of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, seeking blessings for the nation’s prosperity and well-being.

Upon their arrival, they were warmly received by the shrine’s custodian, Salman Chishti, who escorted them to the sanctum while placing a traditional ‘safa’ (turban) on Gautam Adani’s head. Following the rituals, the Adanis participated in a soulful Qawwali session in the ‘Begami Dalan’ area of the dargah, immersing themselves in Sufi music.

This visit comes shortly after the wedding of their younger son, Jeet Adani, on February 7, 2025. In honor of this joyous occasion, the Adani family pledged to support the marriages of 500 differently-abled girls annually, providing each with financial assistance of ₹10 lakh.

The Adani family’s visit to Ajmer Sharif underscores their commitment to spiritual traditions and philanthropy, reflecting their dedication to societal welfare and cultural values.
