Ranchi: The Hemant Soren-led government in Jharkhand formed its new cabinet on Thursday. A total of 11 ministers were sworn in during a ceremony held at the Ashok Garden of Raj Bhavan. The oath of office and secrecy was administered by Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar.
The ceremony began with the Governor swearing in Professor Stephen Marandi as the Protem Speaker. Following this, Radha Krishna Kishore was the first to take the oath as a minister. Other ministers who took the oath included Deepak Birua, Chamra Linda, Sanjay Prasad Yadav, Ramdas Soren, Irfan Ansari, Hafizul Hasan, Deepika Pandey Singh, Yogendra Prasad, Sudivya Kumar, and Shilpi Neha Tirkey.
The new cabinet marks a significant milestone in the governance of Jharkhand, with Chief Minister Hemant Soren reiterating his commitment to addressing the aspirations of the people and driving the state’s development.
