Pakistan’s Information and Broadcasting Minister, Attaullah Tarar, has claimed that India is planning to launch military action against Pakistan within the next 24 to 36 hours. This alarming statement comes after a deadly attack in Indian-administered Kashmir, which India blames on Pakistan—a claim Islamabad denies.

In response, India has reportedly suspended the Indus Waters Treaty and closed its airspace to Pakistani flights. Pakistan warns of a strong and immediate retaliation if attacked, while urging the international community to intervene and help de-escalate the situation.

The United Nations has called on both nations to show restraint as tensions between the two nuclear-armed neighbors continue to rise.
