Prime Minister Narendra Modi today released the 19th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme from Bihar. Under this initiative, ₹2,000 was directly transferred to the bank accounts of 9.8 crore farmers across the country through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
During this event, MP Sanjay Seth participated in a program held at the Krishi Vigyan Kendra (Ramakrishna Mission), Ranchi. He inspected the agricultural products of the center and interacted with the farmers present at the event.
The Krishi Vigyan Kendra has played a crucial role in bringing positive changes to farmers’ lives. Many farmers are now shifting from chemical-based farming to natural farming, promoting sustainable agricultural practices. The center’s contributions to agricultural research and innovation were also praised.
This initiative by the government aims to provide financial support to farmers and encourage sustainable farming practices, ensuring a better future for Indian agriculture.
