In a recent development, Punjab Police have arrested Monty Singh, the prime suspect in the murder of scientist Abhishek Swarnkar from Jharkhand. The incident occurred in Mohali following a dispute over parking. CCTV footage revealed that Monty allegedly pushed Swarnkar, leading to his collapse. Despite efforts by his parents to revive him, Swarnkar, who had recently undergone a kidney transplant, was declared dead upon arrival at the hospital. The victim’s family is demanding stringent punishment for Monty Singh.
