A crime review and felicitation meeting was convened today by the Superintendent of Police (Rural), Ranchi at the Senior Superintendent of Police Office Conference Hall. The meeting saw the participation of all DySPs, Inspectors, and Officers-in-Charge from rural police stations and outposts across the district.

The session began with a review of directives issued in the previous month, during which each station in-charge was assessed individually. For the upcoming month, several key directives were issued to ensure better crime control and investigation efficiency.

Timely execution of non-bailable warrants and communication with the courts.

Review of pending passport verifications and unidentified death (UD) cases.

Close monitoring of released convicts’ activities.

Swift action and breakthroughs in cases of snatching, rape, POCSO-related crimes, theft, robbery, and property offenses.

Raids on illegal gambling and liquor dens.

Investigation Oversight:

Emphasis on reviewing property-related and UD cases, with actionable directions for speedy resolution.

The event also recognized outstanding police officers and personnel for their commendable work over the past month. They were felicitated for their dedication and service to maintaining law and order in rural areas.
